Urban Fare finally opens its doors this weekend!

Via Everyday Tourist

Get your grocery carts ready, people, Urban Fare has arrived to blow your supermarket expectations away. The place is set to be a haven for any gourmet food lovers in Calgary, and sitting in Mount Royal Village right off of 17th ave, it’s certain to become a shopping staple for years to come.

Here’s what you can expect when Urban Fare Calgary opens its doors on Friday, April 26th!

Food Stations for Days

With nearly 27,000 square feet of shopping space, there isn’t a fresh piece of produce or delicious slab of meat that you won’t find inside Urban Fare.

Now, grocery-shopping aside, there is a reason why this chain has become Western Canada’s premier food destination. You’ll be able to find a full-service restaurant, poke bowls, pizza stations, and even a Starbucks inside the new Urban Fare. It’s truly a one-stop-shop.

A hot buffet and baking for days

Obviously, the old-fashioned butcher shop and hundreds of in-stock cheese options have our attention, but the hot buffet might be the end of our beach body season (before it ever really started). Throw in the charcuterie and wine bar (excuse me, what?!) and this is truly a market experience that Calgary hasn’t seen before.

Keep an eye out for us when you check it out! To be honest, we’ll probably be living there the majority of the time.
