Have some extra homegrown produce just laying around? Whether you have pears, berries, cherries, or apples wasting away on your lawn, Calgary’s Sunnycider will take those tree rejects off your hands, and even pay you for them!

Through the Sunnycider Fruit Donor program, a pound of apples and pears could make you $0.25 and cherries or berries could make you $1 in Calgary Dollars.

Once you get your payout you can then spend it either in-house or on online cider purchases for 40% off. Talk about full circle!

Honestly, folks, this is some seriously easy money. What else would you have done with the fruit? Eat them? Bake a pie? … Please, you’ve promised yourselves that you’d do this every year since you planted the seeds for that freaking tree.

Anywho. Sunnycider will be taking donations until October 30 on Saturdays and Sunday at their NE location which you can find here, so get your butts over there!

For more information or just to check out their products, which you should definitely be craving now if you read the entire article, you can check out their website at the link below. Happy donating, Calgary!
