Paddy’s makes list of top new bars in Canada

We know you know that Calgary’s the place to be, but just in case you need a little reminder, we’ve had it confirmed by a second source. Air Canada’s enRoute magazine just released its list of the best new bars in Canada, and one of our fave places made the list (duh). Read on for the deets on the new Paddy’s Barbeque & Brewery!

You might know of enRoute magazine because of its annual ranking of the country’s best new restaurants (or just from being bored on an Air Canada flight), but now it’s taken the bar game into consideration with its list of ‘Canada’s Best New Bars‘… and luckily for us, Paddy’s is representing Calgs as one of the top must-hit spots in the nation.

Known for its unstoppable Southern pride, this brewery is constantly serving up unreal smoked meats and hand-crafted beer. Personally, we can’t get enough of their Chocolate Porter or their slow-roasted beef brisket, so we can’t say we’re shocked that this Barley Belt gem earned its way onto the prestigious list.

It all came down to one judge’s opinion, but after a month-long, booze-filled, cross-country trek, the Air Canada rep just had to pick Paddy’s as the 10th best bar in all the land. We probably would’ve put the Brewbecue at number one… but then again, we could be biased.
