Owners of Brasserie Kensington to reopen with ‘Eat Crow’ in same location

May was a rough month for the city’s restaurant scene. We said goodbye to some of our favourite spots including Brasserie Kensington which had been open for 10 long, tasty years. But you know what they say, when one restaurant closes, another one opens in its place. In this case, the owners of Brasserie Kensington spot will actually be the ones redefining the space. We’re excited to announce Cam Dobranski and Jacqueline Warrell’s new Calgary concept resto, Eat Crow.
Brasserie owners, Cam and Jacqueline will reopen this June with a new look, a new menu, and a new outlook. And honestly, we can’t fricken’ wait.

“Coined as a lively and laid-back snack bar, Eat Crow will be THE go-to spot for sips and nibs before a night out, post late night eats or something in between,” they said in an email sent to Curiocity.
The Eat Crow menu will be light and affordable with a ton of vegetarian, vegan, dairy & gluten-free options to accommodate everyone.
Customers can dine on items like root vegetable tartare, handmade perogies, or a signature butter’ scotch’ cream puff among other things, guilt and concern free!
Also, to comply with current COVID restrictions and guidelines, Eat Crow has been set up to allow a comfortable physical distancing experience.
See folks! There’s no need to fret. They’ll be back soon and you can bet your bottom dollar we’ll be there!
