Local Charity and YYC faves are selling a tasty Stampede BBQ in a box

The trucks won’t be rolling into town this year, but the spirit of the Calgary Stampede lives on… through food! We don’t know about you, but that one of our favourite things about the event anyway, so we’re beaming! This year,  legendary grill daddies, beer baddies, and a popular radio station have all partnered with the Mustard Seed to bring you the Stampede BBQ in a box!

Wild 95.3, Grizzly Paw Brewery, Big T’s BBQ, and Cask Canning have teamed up with the charity for a summer experience for families of 2-4, heck, even just person one if you’re really hungry.

Each meal will include delicious pulled pork, buns, coleslaw, potato salad, and soda! As well as plates, napkins, and cowboy decor! How festive!

Boxes can be ordered here and picked up at their drive-thru Stampede Party, July 3rd, 4th, 5th, 10th, and 11th! Honestly, even if you’re not picking up a Stampede BBQ box from the Mustard Seed, we’d recommend checking out their event. These guys will have mini donuts, balloons, and hay bales. Mini donuts!!!!

If we didn’t have you at ‘pulled pork’ and you still need some convincing, it should be noted the proceeds from these meals will go to supporting impoverished men, women, and children in Calgary, but giving them basic necessities, programming, and long term care.

Trust us, BBQ taste even better when it’s for a good cause! Get out there, Calgary!
