Have a magical tea party at Brasserie Kensington

It’s not your grandma’s high tea, but don’t worry– she’s still invited. Brasserie Kensington is hosting a tea party every weekend, and it’s less crochet/Werther’s candies and more chic cocktails/modern appies. (Not that we’re knocking Grammy’s crochet or candy supply, ’cause we’re huge fans of both of those things.)

Skip the white gloves and head on down every Saturday and Sunday– it’s on all afternoon from 2:15 till 4, and at just $35 per person, it’s a steal of a deal. In addition to endless sips from Earl Grey to Blueberry Rooibos, Brasserie also boasts an unreal menu of tiny eats.

On the savoury side, appies like Squash & Goat Feta-Stuffed Peppadew Peppers and Breaded Duck rule supreme. However, there’s also some seriously crushable Cinnamon Scones, White Chocolate Biscotti, and Banana Custard Tarts to satisfy your sweet tooth too.

And let’s not forget the most important part: the booze. From the French Negronis to the Empresses Aviaton to the Aperol Spritzes, Brasserie does not skimp on taste or quality. However, unlike your classic tea party hosts, they will not look down on you for being 4 cocktails deep by 2:30 pm.

Overall, it’s a classy (yet sassy) time that you absolutely shouldn’t miss. Add this to your weekend to-do’s, Calgary, make a reso, and let those pinkies fly high.
