Happy Hour of the Week: Taco Tuesday all week long

Here we are with another Curiocity Calgary Happy Hour of the Week! Do you like tacos and margaritas? No? Then don’t talk to us when you see us at the bar, things will get ugly real quick. And by ugly, we mean we will plead with you to change your mind and might start crying.

But we digress. This happy hour of the week comes from the good folks over at Native Tongues. Probably the hottest Mexican restaurant in the city, Native Tongues is booming daily but gets super busy on Tuesdays. Why? Because it’s taco night, of course.

Psst, time to let you in on a secret. You don’t actually have to go on Tuesday to get cheap tacos. That’s right, they have a reverse happy hour daily from 10 PM until they close. During this time, you can grab a variety of tacos for $3, an AGD can for $4, and a shot of tequila for $5. Sounds like our kind of late night dining.

Don’t want to be out that late? Alright, you can head over there during the week for their regular happy hour from 3-6PM. While you can’t get tacos, you can grab tostadas, chilaquiles (fried tortilla chips in sauce) or their burger for a discounted price.

And, their happy hour has a more extensive drink menu than the late night one. Margaritas are only $5, and glasses of wine are either $8 or $12 depending on what size you want. The AGD is the same price, but we stick with margaritas.

So, if you’re looking for some delicious (and cheap) Mexican food this summer, keep Native Tongues. Just don’t tell anyone about it, ok? This deal is as good as free real estate.
