Hi hungry friends! It’s May, which means you might be thinking of toning the heavy eats down. Our reaction to that is “haha, funny joke.” Rock those stretchy pants kids, ’cause this week’s Curiocity Calgary Happy Hour of the Week is tasty and definitely not Keto-diet approved. Oh well!
We’re heading over to 17th Ave to explore MARKET this week! We’re not sure why their name is in all caps, but what we are sure about is their tasty, tasty eats.

Mondays are about 1/2 price bottles of wine. Tuesday’s devoted to $20 feature burgers and $5 beer. Wednesdays are all about cheap mussels and fries. Thursday’s date night, with $40 dinner for 2. Weekends are brunchin’ time, with $6 mimosas. You hungry yet?
Head over from 3-5pm or 9pm-close for $5 beer, $5 highballs, $8 wine, and $10 appies. If you’re thinking that it’s not cheap enough, you should probably consider the fact that this food is quality with a capital T. Which, we guess, would make it qualiTy.
It’s not every day that you stumble upon a resto that bakes their own breads, cures their own meats, does their own butchering, makes their own cheese and grows their own herbs. So seriously Calgary– go try MARKET, like ASAP!
