Ahhh Prince’s Island. Arguably one of the prettiest spots in the city, no? We love it for its blooms and glistening river views… However, we gotta admit that the local eats around there have a place in our hearts, too. Calgary, we know you know of River Cafe. But it’s time to take a closer look at this total gem.
This lovely spot on the lagoon is the perfect place for an elegant meal or event. Why? ‘Cause their seasonal Canadian cuisine never fails to exceed expectations. Seriously, this place has won many an award (and for good reason).

Feelin’ fishy? Good, there’s a lot of stuff on the menu for you to work with. Try fresh Fogo Island Snow Crab, for starters. Or if you’re in a charcuterie kinda mood (who isn’t?), try a handcrafted Fish & Game Board.
Another can’t-miss is River Cafe’s delicious oysters. They come with an amazing Sea Buckthorn Mignonette, so even if you’re not huge on shellfish you’ll be swayed.
