Calgary’s Cold Garden is giving away FREE beer as a “thank you” to its neighbours
If we’ve learned anything over the last few months, it’s that having a sense of community is incredibly important. We’ve also learned that there’s no better way to show your neighbours that you care than by getting them good and liquored up.
This week, as announced on their Instagram, Cold Garden will send those who live in the surrounding Inglewood and Ramsay areas a ‘free beer’ postcard in the mail, as their way of saying “thank you, for being a friend.”

“From the moment we found our corner in the hood you’ve helped grow Cold Garden,” they said in the post. “We appreciate your unwavering support and want to give you a FREE BEER! No tomfoolery… just a free beer, straight up.”
Each gift will be good for one, no charge, can of their Neighbourhood Ale and all that you have to do is head over there to redeem it.
All that they ask in return is that you join them in their #ColdGardenBeerParty on Instagram by posting a video or picture of you enjoying your frosty one, using their hashtag. It’s honestly as easy as that!
As for the rest of Calgary? Well… we’re sure that they’ll get to you eventually. Let’s just try our best to be happy for them.
