Calgary store looking to help with Candy Heart shortage

B Mine. Soul Mate. You’ll Do. All classic Candy Heart sayings. And now, we’re faced with the tragic fate of going a Valentine’s Day without them… or are we?
Necco, the American company that originally blessed us with these chalky treats, has gone bankrupt and left us without any candy pickup lines to rely on. However, Paul Yuzda, owner of Calgary-based Sweet Fusion, has found an answer.

This genius watched the whole Necco mess go down. Having a premonition that us Heart lovers could be left high and dry, the candy aficionado stocked up and held onto his stash for this very occasion.
So if you’ve been struggling to find your fave powdery treat, stop stressing and just hit up Paul’s spot on 3919 Richmond Rd SW. We can’t promise that he won’t extort you, but hey. The man will play to your Candy Heart addiction if he must.
And if you’re worried about your future Heart supply (you really need an intervention, don’t you?), rest easy. Production of the treats should be back to business as usual by Valentine’s Day 2020, thanks to new company Spangler.
