We’re not about to hop on a plane and travel across the world to grab a slice of authentically made za. Instead, we think we’ll just wait a month or so to check out Calgary’s Pizza Culture, an up-and-coming joint that pays homage to the Neapolitan pies of Naples.
With a dough recipe that dates way back to the 16th century, these guys are almost sure to hit the spot for anyone craving saucy goodness any day of the week. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until November to find out, but we can’t imagine that it won’t be worth it!
Not only is their dough as true-to-Italy as it gets, but their technique of actually making the pizza has also been handed down from several generations, well before Pizza Culture owners John and Tony Nicastro or Jeremy Hube were even a thought.

But the highly anticipated tastiness really doesn’t stop there! All 20 of their incredible combinations will be baked in their wood-fired Stefano Ferrara oven, which was imported from the European boot, itself!
In addition to their za, guests can also expect additional menu items like craft beers, delicious Italian desserts, and an extensive wine list.
Things are slowly taking shape at their NE location, but as we said, we can’t expect to take a seat and stuff our face until next month.
Welcome to the scene, PC! Consider us ready and standing by!
