Calgary’s first esports bar is opening its doors on 17th ave
Listen up, gamers! The first eSports bar in Calgary, Ram Cross, is opening up on 17th Avenue this weekend! On Saturday, June 8th, gamers, sports fans, and people who like beer can all join together to celebrate the grand opening. Here’s what you should expect from Ram Cross!
We’ve been wondering for a while now about what might be moving into the old Morgan’s Pub location on the west end of 17th Ave. To be honest, we do miss the live tunes and pub vibes at Morgan’s. That being said, Ram Cross sounds like it’s going to be pretty impressive.

We’re talking 18 high-end gaming PCs all hooked up to fibre-optic internet. On top of that, there will be big screens all around the bar to view gaming tournaments. Not bad at all. Oh, and traditional sports fans won’t be left out! Ram Cross will also be showing big games and sporting events from around the world.
With esports blowing up around the world, we’re expecting to see plenty of these popping up in the near future. With that being said, good on Ram Cross for being the first to arrive in town. We’ll see you there, Calgary!
