Calgary Airport to introduce 50 delicious new restaurants and bars

Via Calgary International Airport

The Calgary International Airport is going HAM and introducing 50 new food and drink options in its domestic terminal. The new bar and restaurant options include tons of local options and should be fully completed over the course of the next two years. Time to book some flights!

The revitalization has kicked off with the opening of The Burger Federation. Sporting 100% Alberta Angus Beef in combination with international burger trends, this is sure to be a traveler’s favourite.

Additionally, local beer hotspot Last Best Brewing and Distillery is going to be opening up a location in the terminal. Makes sense, after all. Is there anything better than getting an airport buzz on?

Furthermore, Made Foods will be opening up shop with locally sourced ingredients. It’s another Calgary company, so be sure to add it to your airport snacking schedule.

We’ve also heard that a Calgary Flames-themed restaurant and bar will be opening. They’ll be playing every Flames game along with plenty of other big sporting events, and serving “game-day inspired cuisine”. Sooooo, we can get a Pocket Dawg at the airport now?? Fingers fricken’ crossed!

The full list of new restaurants hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll be sure to keep an eye on that for you. In the meantime, you’ll just have to enjoy the familiar food spots and watering holes that already call Calgary Airport home.
