Beyond Meat burgers coming to stores for BBQ season

Fire up the grill and beckon your veggie friends over! Beyond Meat burgers are coming to Canadian stores, just in time for BBQ szn ?The delicious (but kind of elusive) plant-based patties sold out after being offered the fast food way. Now, they’re coming to more than 3,000 stores nationwide for all your plant-based burger needs. We know, you have a lot of plant-based burger needs.

In an interview with BusinessWire, the founder and CEO of Beyond Meat expressed all the excited feels. “On the heels of our successful launch with A&W that introduced Canadians to the delicious taste of The Beyond Burger, retail is the natural next step for our brand.”

“Further, we couldn’t be more excited that just in time for the summer BBQ season, Canadians can now enjoy our burgers at home with friends and family, while receiving the added health and environmental benefits of plant-based meat.”

Vegetarians and average carnivores alike jumped all over the Beyond Meat burger when it launched at A&W. Some people were in it for the 20g of protein and lower fat content. Also, some people just thought it tasted really good. Both reasons are valid.

You can expect to find Beyond Meat in the meat case (lol, stick it to ’em, guys!) at the following grocery groups: Co-op, Georgia Main, Loblaw, Longos, Metro, Save On, Sobeys, and Whole Foods.
