An innovative fusion dessert chain with multiple Canadian locations is coming to Calgary

Calgary is spoiled for choice. From savoury favourites to sweet treats, it seems that there are 1,000 places to satisfy every mid-morning, 2 am, and after-dinner craving. Every once in a while, though, we’ll see the grand opening of a new resto that checks every box (as far as our taste buds are concerned). Enter Sugar Marmalade, a one-stop-shop for tasty snacks at any time of day.

This authentic(ish) Chinese-fusion spot was established in 2010 and has since opened establishments in a ton of Canadian cities. You can find Sugar Marmalade locations in Toronto, St. Catherines, Scarborough, Montreal, and Winnipeg – but now it’s Calgary’s turn!

Here you’ll find stuffed pancakes, cakes, jello, and bubble waffles, main dish eats like hot pot, curry and, meatballs and pasta. They also have milkshakes, Italian sodas, and milk teas – and that’s just to name a few.

Unfortunately, there’s no official opening date just yet, but we’ll be on standby. Literally, everything here looks wild and crazy delicious and we can’t wait to sink our teeth into anything and everything on this menu.
