A brand new hidden coffee shop just opened in the West End

Good news, coffee lovers! A brand new hole-in-the-wall called Loophole Coffee Bar has opened up in Calgary’s Downtown West End. Reddit user Elissa-Megan-Powers snagged the pic above, and mentioned that “the staff aren’t pretentious and the coffee is fresh roasted.” Sounds like a winner so far!
Tucked away on 10th Street SW between 7th and 8th Ave sits this cozy newcomer to Calgary’s growing coffee scene. Patrons are encouraged to enjoy coffee, music, and books at this spot so if you’re swinging by feel free to make yourself comfortable.

Loophole is keeping things local, using coffee beans from The Roasterie to make their espresso and drip coffees. Also, the intimate location is filled with vintage artwork and trinkets to give the shop a unique atmosphere.
With the Kirby LRT station just a short walk away, Loophole offers commuters a new java option on the West End. The store is open now, so head on over for a cup of jo and a quick pic with Owen Wilson himself. Cheers!
