This might be the most bizarre Valentine’s activity in Calgary

Wowee, there’s nothing that’ll get an unsuspecting date going quite like a rodent in a tophat, is there? Trust us, we’re self-proclaimed relationship experts. If you’re looking for a unique date activity, don’t waste your time looking any further than the Telus Spark Valentine’s Taxidermy workshop.
To say that this is simply an out of the box V-date idea would be insulting to whoever put this together.
During the event, all of you daring love birds will examine the biological structure of the mice provided and discover techniques to help prepare your, erhm, mantlepiece? We don’t know, what you do with it afterwards is yours to decide.

Worried about finding a tiny cane small enough for Gus-Gus? Don’t worry. This workshop will include all accessories and props, parking and admission to the BODY WORLDS: Animal Inside Out exhibit.
Now, before you ask the same questions we did and get all worked up, it should be noted that this will be an ETHICAL taxidermy workshop. No mice were harmed in the collection of the specimen, and for that, we can at least be moderately thankful.
Happy…. Valentine’s Day.
