Alright, folks, it’s time to saddle up because dry January is almost over! Good thing, too, because it is just in time for GRETA’s Stampede Sneak Peek Party. Yes, you read that correctly. Stampede. Sneak. Peek.

It might be 6 months away, but hey who’s counting? (We are, obviously). When your city throws the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, it’s something to celebrate year-round. This Thursday at 6:00 PM GRETA is throwing an over the top, pre-Stampede tribute to show Calgarians what they can expect from them come July.

The bar will be decked out in all things Midway- from giant stuffed animals to hay bales, to live music, they are about to throw the greatest INDOOR show on Earth. They’ll be serving up Stampede themed menu items like Crocodile Nuggets, Kangaroo Sloppy Joes, Funfetti Corn Dogs, and glow-in-the-dark-neon Candy Apples. Don’t worry about getting parched either, you’ll be able to wash down your crocodile and kangaroo with Stampede drink staples like Budweiser and Jack Daniels alllll night long.

So folks, dust off your boots and pull out those daisy dukes, it’s time to celebrate Calgary’s Christmas (aka Stampede). See y’all there!
