A crazy Mac & Cheese Fest’s hitting YYC this summer

Did you know that Chester the Cheetah never actually said “It ain’t easy being cheesy”? As a matter of fact, he said “It’s not easy being cheesy”. But whether you quote that legend correctly or not doesn’t matter. What does matter is that all of us can agree on mac ‘n’ cheese being a straight up iconic comfort food.

Hence why we’re so stoked that the Mac and Cheese Festival will be coming to Calgary for the first time at the end of June. Now in its 5th year, the Festival has fed around 500,000 Ontario peeps since it started. If that sounds big, it’s prob cause it’s the largest fest in North America(!!). So it definitely makes sense that it’s now doing a full Canadian tour.

Did we mention that it’s free to attend too? Well it is, so you can bet your sweet bottom dollar that we will be soaking up as much mac ‘n’ cheese joy as we possibly can while we’re there. Although they’ve yet to announce the participants, we are sure that it will range from mac served out of a Doritos bag to some with incredible BBQ on it. Shoutout to Calgary’s culinary scene!
