Look no further than Calgary’s most unique movie experience at The Grand for something to do this weekend! Backseat Cinema is a once a month event, and is perfect for those looking for something a little different than the classic trip to the theatre.
To start things off, Backseat Cinema is a licensed event. That means you don’t have to worry about finding a bar beforehand- you can just grab a little something once you get there! Plus, there will be entertainment and more based on the movie being shown.

Also, this month it just so happens to be one of the best comedies of all time. We’ve never met a person who didn’t like Wayne’s World, and we don’t want to meet them moving forward. Garth and Wayne represent all that is sacred about small-town America.
Hopefully, the entertainment will include a recreation of their basement. We’d love to see some donuts mixed in, too. Heck, maybe after the movie we’ll have enough energy to go to a rock show or something!
