Penguins at the Calgary Zoo

For the 7th year in a row, Calgarians are getting the chance to enjoy the Calgary Zoo Penguin Walk! The lucky spectators will be up close and personal with a gorgeous group of king penguins during this annual spectacle.

You’ve never been this close to one of these delightful birds as they enjoy their daily strolls around the zoo grounds. You’ll learn a little about king penguin enrichment and conservation as well, so it’s a perfect outing for the whole family.

Naturally, the walk depends on the weather. If it’s too chilly or windy and the kings decide to stay in, then they’ll be staying in. So, if you’re planning ahead, make sure keep an eye on the zoo’s website and social media and that ever-changing weather forecast.
