Calgary’s hosting a huge takeout vegan festival this week!

What’s that? You’re hungry for something vegan and crazy delicious? Cool, so are we. The first annual YYC Vegan Week went down in 2019, and now it’s back for 2020!
YYC Vegan Week is happening from now until June 7th. Given the current COVID-19 sitch, the organizers have adapted the experience to happen at home… But it’s still gonna be just as tasty! Some contestants may also offer a safe dine-in experience, depending on their state of opening.

So how do you get involved? First of all, order yourself some tasty vegan eats. The contestants competing for “best vegan meal” can be found here. From Blanco to Hearts Choices to Raw Eatery and Market, you can’t really go wrong.
Then, tag your favourite participating restaurant vegan meal or dessert with @yycveganweek and use the hashtag #yycveganweek! You’ll be casting your vote and entering for a chance to win a dad hat from Talk Vegan To Me Clothing, a $25 gift card to Raw Eatery and Market, and a $25 gift card to Vegan Street Kitchen & Lounge.
