Calgary’s city-wide totally FREE art festival to kick off tomorrow!
We’re not ashamed to admit how excited we get when literally anything is free. Restaurant mints? Grocery store samples? Yeah, we dig that – which is why you can bet your butts that we’ll be at the 37th annual Calgary Artwalk! This two-day festival was planned by the city for the city and won’t cost you a penny!
This event is an easy one to enjoy, no matter your ‘art comfort level’ or familiarity with local artists and galleries.

Walk, run, or ride to select venues located all over the city, and take in the specially curated talks, tours, exhibitions, and workshops organized and held by YYC Ar-teests.
The Calgary art walk is self-directed, so you can work through it on your own time, avoiding crowds along the way. Heck, you don’t even have to see all of it. Say you only have an hour to kill! The art walk is totally commitment-free so you can dive in and dip out at your own convenience.
