An unofficial Pokemon pop up bar is coming to Calgary

Well, a Pokemon bar might be coming to Calgary. We’re not exactly sure how many of the recent wave of pop-ups to be announced are legitimate businesses and how many are just viral marketing attempts to get your email. And, we’re not investigative journalists here at Curiocity, we’re just kind of along for the ride.
Anyway, the appropriately named PokeBar is supposed to be coming to Calgary sometime in September. In theory, guests will be able to enjoy Pokemon themed drinks, food and activities.

In addition to this oddball bar, we will be getting a mini-golf bar pop-up and a LEGO bar pop-up over the course of the summer. So, even though it’s obvious that Calgary will be hosting some strange pop-ups, this Pokemon bar is really out there.
How so? Well, we should probably consider that it’s a tad shady. Take, for example, the fact that the company behind PokeBar is not officially affiliated with Pokemon. So, you can look forward to your favourite characters like Mesty, Breck, and of course, Dash Ketchom. They’ll be there with all the best Pokemon as well- fire lizard, plant tortoise, and water turtle.
Nice, the gang’s all here… you know what they say- “Gotta find ’em all!”
