It’s not too early to dip your boots into a little holiday spirit! This weekend, Banff will be dripping in the magic of Christmas. The mountain town will be hosting events, markets and even an enchanting glow in the dark parade.

Kick off the flurry of family-friendly events bright and early this Saturday the 16th. From 10:00 am until 3:00 pm hit up the Christmas market to snap a pic with the one and only big man or take the Banff gondola to a mountain top wonderland, where Santa has temporarily stationed his workshop. Decorate cookies, or watch a festive movie amongst other holiday loving individuals.

From 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, take a mini-train ride from the Banff Fairmont Hotel on the CP Railroad, or browse the holiday markets along the strip.

Finally, at 6:00 pm, watch Banff come to life. Holiday floats, performers, and jolly ol’ St. Nick will march down Main Street draped in lights and tinsel. Then, sing carols in the park under a bed of stars.

Yeah, this event is pretty much straight out of a Hallmark movie. We promise you won’t forget it.
