Bring on the twinkling lights, comfy-cozy atmospheres, and the fun! This year, in order to celebrate the holidays and the end to a chaotic 2020, Calgary’s Legacy has been preparing a beautiful display of Christmas cheer and community and they want you to be apart of the magic!
Every night from November 16th until January 10th, the south YYC neighbourhood will light up with millions of lights, trees, and holiday spirit.

Walk or drive through one of Calgary’s largest free light shows and see dozens of resident-decorated, privately-owned homes, familiar shapes made of LEDs, glowing tunnels, and a larger-than-life Christmas tree.
But that’s not all! The community will also decorate their showhomes, Griswold style; they’ll be hosting a toy drive, and finally – have said that they’ll be opening the skating rink to the public.
This honestly, sounds like a socially distanced wonderland, and we cannot be more excited.
As we said, it’s free – so no need to grab any tickets, Calgary. Just mark your calendars and prepare yourself! The future is looking pretty bright.
