Well, here we are, Calgary. It’s officially September, which means it’s about time to begin wrapping up Summer 2020. We know this is tough for some of you, but there’s no need to sulk or prematurely hibernate. YYC still has one more month of warmish evening favourites and it all kicks off with the return of the Inglewood Night Market!
For four straight weekends, the SE community will open it’s streets to the masses, just like it has in the years before it. This time around, however, things are going to look a little differently – but of course, you probably already knew that. You’re just a bunch of smarty pants, aren’t you?

Due to the COVID-19 virus, shoppers will be required to remain physically distanced and will be encouraged to wear masks. This has become pretty routine, so we’re really not surprised. It doesn’t stop there though!
There will also be a limit to how many people can enter (but we’re certainly not mad about it) and vendors will be way more spread out than usual to prevent crowding.
Lastly, while their food trucks will still be on-site, this year, market go-ers will have to do without the beer gardens. Wah, wah. This is sad, obviously, but it’s necessary folks! The last thing you want is some drunkard stumbling around into your safety bubble with a loaded poutine. No, Ma’am.
Craft and hops or no craft and hops, The Inglewood Night Market is a Fall eve must-do, guys! Also, they’ll be donating $1 to Music Mile YYC, so by checking it out you’ll be doing some good.
Enjoy yourselves, friends, and maybe we’ll see you out there!
