Black bear breaks into Canadian home looking for a slice of pizza (VIDEO)
Quality content check! Animals, especially hungry ones, are freaking smart. For that reason, we figured we’d remind you all how important it is to lock your doors! This week, an Ontario man shared security camera footage of a black bear breaking into their house overnight after smelling a few pizza boxes that had been left by the door.
The furry thief can be seen on video sneaking into the home, then ripping open the boxes. After realizing that they’re all empty, the big guy sniffs his way through the rest of the room.

If you were unaware – like we were until today – bears actually have an insane sense of smell. In fact, their noses are almost 7-times better than that of a bloodhound, which has a notoriously great snoot.
The video is 50% adorable, 50% terrifying, and 100% a lesson in Canadian homeowner etiquette.
“Don’t leave garbage out in Canada. This is entirely my fault, although I’ve never seen a bear open a front door like this before,” said Sean Atkinson, who owns the property and caught the black bear on security camera.
Be careful folks, Sean got lucky, but lightning doesn’t usually strike in the same place twice!
