Kensington’s newest contemporary condos, The Theodore, and our friends at The Kensington BRZ and PARK, have come together to give back to the community and make Calgarian’s commutes through, and visits to Kensington a whole lot brighter! We think everyone could use a little light at the end of the tunnel these days and #KensingtonBRIGHT has done literally that!
The feature installation at the future home of The Theodore condo building is an interactive light-tunnel and hand-painted mural created by local artists Shannon Hoover, Angel Aubichon, Alex Manitopyes and Michelle Hoogveld. This colorful light-inspired tunnel allows you to engage with art in a touchless way with the lights changing colour as you walk through!
#KensingtonBRIGHT also features three additional lifesize outdoor installations located at Ridley’s Cycle, Vine Styles and Good Trade Coffee Co. in collaboration with artists Leetia Lyons, Sydonne Warren and Alex and Angel of Indicity.
