Bummed about the weather? So are we. We’re looking forward to patio beers, ice cream and late nights on 17th Ave. Luckily there’s one mid-summer activity that we won’t have to wait much longer for. The Block Heater Music Festival is here to warm up Calgary’s art scene.

Block Heater, which is put on by Calgary Folk Fest, will be taking over the downtown area this week, February 20th to the 22nd! This festival has grown immensely since it’s early days at small venues in Inglewood.

Now, music lovers can check out their impressive lineup of folk, hip hop, and alternative artists at Calgary hot spots like Studio Bell, Festival Hall, The Calgary Public Library and of course, The King Eddy.
