The Locked Library escape room arrives this winter

If you’re as obsessed with the new library as we are, you might be finding it hard to escape those walls already. But things will only get harder come 2019 since our fave architectural gem is being transformed into an escape room this February! Keep reading for all the deets.
The event will be called Locked Library, and it’ll see teams of contestants trying to escape the newly-opened building before time runs out. If it sounds familiar, it’s ‘cause we’ve done it before at the old Central Library (thanks Beakerhead!). But now, you’ll have to try not to be distracted by the new building’s stunning wood design. Good luck, it’s pretty much impossible.

Calgary’s new library makes Architectural Digest’s list of most futuristic libraries in the world
The event will run for about two hours from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, which means that you’ll be able to get an after-hours view of the space. It’ll only cost you roughly 42 bucks… so get online, grab a ticket, and register your group (or join one!).
All proceeds will go towards supporting the Calgary Public Library, so you know your cash is going to a good cause! We’ll see you there in February, Calgary.
