New Horizon Mall to showcase local Stampede artists during 4-day exhibit

Stampede 2020 may have been cancelled, but artists like Canada’s Paul Van Ginkel never actually got off the horse. Instead, he kicked up his heels and rode straight for the Horizon… Mall. In order to keep our western culture alive and well in a year that we need it the most, Van Ginkel organized “Back in the Saddle”, a cow-town-proud exhibit in Balzac.

The show will be as safe as can be, following all COVID-related protocols, including having everyone wear a mask and sanitize at the entryway.
Not only will this four-day gallery feature the V man himself, but it will also showcase the vibrant work of 10 well known Stampede artists, and will feature local musicians on Saturday and Sunday.
Those interested can catch the show, and enjoy a complimentary beverage, between August 28th and the 31st at the New Horizon Mall starting at 11 am every day. We think it’s safe to say that the spirit of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth lives on, Calgary!
Enjoy yourselves!
