An Immersive Little Mermaid cocktail experience is coming to Calgary

We’ve been longing to hear a hot crustacean band ever since a theatrical little crab told us that life was hotter under the water. If you spent your childhood blowing the same bubbles, we’d advise you to hold on to your shells, because a brand new Little Mermaid Cocktail Experience is coming to Calgary!
According to the event listing on Feverup.com, this ‘immersive cocktail theatre experience’ will include themed drinks, sea-salty decor, actors, and ‘secrets’ waiting to be uncovered by attendees.
To us, this sounds like a dream come true but we realize that Grimms brothers-turned mouse house fiction just isn’t for everyone.
If you’re still jonesing for a dedicated event, the group bringing this particular event to Calgary will actually be hosting several ‘same, same but different’ experiences in the coming months.

During Calgary’s Big Sushi Fest, fish are food, not friends. According to the same website, this micro-festival will bring the city’s best Japanese parlours together for various workshops, art classes, pop-up shops, and of course, opportunities to fill up on spicy tuna rolls.
Other events include ghost tours, a Sleepy Hollow event, and a series of candlelight string quartet performances. Fancy, fancy.
Unfortunately, dates and times for most events are TBD due to the coronavirus, but we’ll keep you guys in the know! When we know, you’ll know, and together we can watch a trout rock out while a carp plays the harp.
