This year from September 18 to 22, Beakerhead will be putting up sweet community beacons around the city. There are four community beacons that are free to the public but to get the full Beakerhead experience, we highly suggest snagging your tickets to their final event- The Spectacle.
This year, it’s held at Prince’s Island Park and will host 30 engineered art installations for one night of fun and awe!
What is an engineered art installation? Imagine a smash-up of art, science, and engineering pieces that that tower over you, constantly roaming throughout the site, or even shoot fire.
Beakerhead describes the exhibition as “a festival of creativity, ingenuity, technology, and art of Brobdingnagian proportions”. Needless to say, everything there is pretty darn cool and we highly recommend checking it out!
