Calgary’s biggest food and drink festival is back for another year! Get yo’selves down to Eau Claire market between August 8-11 to enjoy one of the tastiest food festivals this summer, Taste of Calgary!
Don’t let your taste go to waste– this foodie fest is open daily Thursday to Sunday from 11am to 9pm. Eat your way through Taste of Calgary and experience diverse delicacies from a mix of foodie faves and local staples.
Treat that palate and get ready for one appetizing festival. Switch hit your sample game between food and bevvies while you take in the live musical talent on the performance stages!
MAKE THE MOST OF THE FESTIVAL
Samplers, rest assured, the restaurant and food truck line-up is stacked with your beloved front-runners and hidden gems just waitin’ to be yours for the takin’! Try everything from Holysmoke BBQ’s pulled pork sliders with mini cornbread to Molcajete Mexican Eatery & Market’s Tostada or Mexican style Sangria!
Returning faves from last year are the Spicy Mango Sticks, Bannock, Butter Chicken Poutine and Spicy Duck Neck…need we say more!?
In the mood for something sweeter? Moo’s Ice Cream is serving up creamy soft serve. Or try out Fantasy Donuts & Preztel’s mini doughnuts and freshly squeezed lemonade!
Taste of Calgary has something for everyone. From gluten-free and vegetarian options to international cuisines and comfort foods these vendors can satisfy even the pickiest of eaters!
After you’ve circled through all the food stations head over to the Cheers Garden where you’ll be welcomed with local breweries and distilleries!
Wet your whistle with some icy ones, from IPAs and Canadian Caesars to Black Fly Rum Punch Slush. Oh, and did we mention you can sample from over 30 different breweries?!
Cost for this food-loving favourite is free! Yep, you heard us right, free. Free until you want to sample something, at that point, it’s a buck-a-ticket.
That’s right buckaroo… each vendor is between 3-5 taste tickets, so stock up on tickets so you can have a little taste of everything!
