Watch Iceland at THEATRE CALGARY

There are thousands of Pinterest quotes stating that the more you laugh, the more you love. Well perfect, because Theatre Calgary’s new production Iceland is here to do just that. This dark comedy is about lust, greed, money, questionable morals and murder. You’ll feel wrong for laughing, but it’s a dark comedy after all.

Throw Some Clay at WORKSHOP STUDIOS

We don’t mean literally throwing clay – although we wouldn’t be opposed to that if the opportunity arose, we’re talking about making your own cup, bowl, or plate. Ok, you might get some Ghost vibes, but we promise everyone gets their own wheel to throw on. You’ll be given a crash course from one of the Workshop’s instructors while enjoying bevvies and music from a DJ. You’ll both produce a piece that will be glazed and fired for you to remember the date forever.

Move over old fashion flower bouquet, there’s a new gal in town! At Amborella, you’ll be able to combine flowers and creativity in one night. They have a bunch of different workshops where you can create your own Dried Botanical Wreath, Fall Burlap Bouquet, or one of our faves, the Floral Pup Collar workshop.

In today’s day and age, we’re so used to snapping a picture and then forgetting about it in our Gallery. Why not pick up a disposable or instant camera and plan a day of adventure that pushes you to finish the whole roll. Get it developed and your next date night could be going through your cute pics.

Pick and Make a DIY project at PINNOVATE

Go in, choose from their wall of projects, make it, and take it! They have a ton of projects to choose from. Ranging from bottle openers to bubble gum machines. For couples that don’t mind getting a little messy, make a paint splatter art piece at their splatter wall. They also have an extensive menu full of local food and drinks so you can eat, drink, and get crafty.
