Pinnovate is the first and only do it yourself freestyle studio in Calgary. Drop-in, creatively pop off and then maybe even leave with a sense of pride. The 1,500-square-foot studio has a safe place for splatter art, tables to work on, and hundreds of different art supplies.

Congratulations to anyone who can walk through Michaels without feeling overwhelmed. Proud of you. But there are dozens of people who see the 40,000 kinds of paint and don’t know the difference between one or another, eventually breaking down and having a full-blown public meltdown in a busy aisle. This may have happened to us.
At Pinnovate everything you need is already there for you. They even have craft-fessionals, a real thing that we definitely didn’t just make up a name for. Pros will be there every step of the way in case you need assistance.
This place also offers tasty treats, because you’ll most likely work up an appetite. Fiasco Gelato and cupcakes from the Cake Bake Shoppe, floats, wine, craft beers, and thin-crust pizzas.
If you like a little more direction when it comes to artful endeavors, they have focused workshops on weekends and even camps for the kidlets. Exercise that creativity, Calgary!
