Jason Reitman, the four-time Oscar-nominated director, took to Twitter last Friday to share the first on-set photo from Ghostbusters in Calgary. The photo included his father Ivan, who directed the original film, plus members of the cast.

Most notable would be Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard. Carrie Coon (HBO’s The Leftovers) and Mckenna Grace (Fuller House) were also in the photo. No word yet on when Bill Murray is going to show up, though. We hope soon, that lovable weirdo needs to be spotted at Peters as of yesterday. Actually, we’d be down to see the entire Ghostbusters crew at an iconic Calgary spot.

Ghostbusters has taken the working title ‘Rust City’, which we’re going to guess is a reference to the Rust Belt. A pretty savage comparison, actually, since the Rust Belt is an American region known for industrial decline in the 80s. Are you out here throwing shots, Jason? You know what, we’re probably reading too much into it.

Ghostbusters is slated to be released next summer, with filming going on around Calgary until October. So, keep your eyes peeled for a bunch of movie trailers because you just might run into the cast out and about.
