Yarr, matey! It’s time to embrace that “X marks the spot” spirit, ’cause GoldHunt has launched three more treasure hunts across Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton! If you missed the first hunt, here’s your chance to redeem yarr-self. (Sorry.)
The first time round, searchers received clues that would lead them to buried treasure. Well, not necessarily buried– the boxes were found under shrubs, benches, etc. However, the bounty was pretty great. Winners grabbed roughly $100,000 in loot!
The Edmonton treasure was found within just 20 hours (easy peasy), while Calgarians took our time (five days, to be exact). However, Van took the longest to find the treasure, taking 10 days to finally pinpoint the booty. The PG booty. Don’t be weird.

Anyway, GoldHunt 2 is expected to be tougher. We’re talkin’ more history-themed riddles, an interesting storyline, the works. Plus, even more prizes to be won!
Maps for the three new hunts are expected to go on sale Saturday, June 29. You can expect clues to be sent by July 27 to officially start off the treasure hunts. Feeling left out ’cause you don’t live in Calgs, Van, or Edmonton? Don’t worry, other cities are in the works too.
