Happy Hour of the Week: 1/2 price tapas & summery sips all week long

Wayho Calgary, you’re about to embark on another work week. The weather forecast might not be looking great, but hey- we’re Calgarians. We can tough it out through any type of weather. And, since it’s almost officially summer, we’re picking a nice lil spot for Happy Hour of the Week. With a covered patio to keep you dry, and unreal food & drink specials, you’ll be feelin’ weekend vibes all week long.

CALGARY HAPPY HOUR OF THE WEEK:

Our pick this week? Ox Bar De Tapas! Previously known as Ox & Angela, this 17th Ave hot spot is a hidden gem for unreal happy hour deals. So- what’s on their happy hour? Everything. Well, almost, but with the exclusion of the Famous Spanish Table, Striploin and Scallops. BUT besides that, all drinks & food are 50% off from 5pm to 7pm every dang day!

Here are our recos for what you need to get.

Food:

• Salt Cod Croquettes
• Rainbow Carrots w/ tahini yogurt, macedonian feta, mint
• Sautéed Mushrooms w/ sherry cream, egg yolk, idiazabeal (@ us if you know what that is), crostini. Seriously, a must if you have any taste at all tbh
• Chicken & Chorizo Rice w/ edamame, saffron, aioli
• Prawns w/ pork belly, cheese polenta, garlic, salsa

Drinks:

• Earl Grey Sour w/ creamy earl grey-infused gin, lemon, egg white
• Sparkling Sangria, ‘cause duh, it’s summer

Unfortunately, these happy hour prices are only available on the high top tables & bar. However, they’ve got a selection of daily deals available throughout the resto & patio to keep ya comin’ back for more.

• Tuesday– 25% off entire bill
• Wednesday– ½ priced bottles of wine
• Thursday– $38 Spanish table tasting menu
• Sunday– all night high top happy hour & $25 paella
