Happy Hour of the Week: Biercheese and beer boots
Well helloooo there Calgary! It’s once again time to dive into some cheap sips and cheaper eats. This week for Happy Hour of the Week, we’re going German. Oh yeah, you bet we’re getting schnitzeled.
If you haven’t already guessed, we’re taking you down to WURST. This stylish pub is a wicked place to dance on tables, but it’s also got some seriously tasty food. Pretzels, poutine, brownies… all the major food groups.
But let’s get down to happy hour, shall we? Actually, the name of the game is halfy hour… which means– you guessed it– things are 1/2 price from 3-6pm daily (and all night Monday). Dive into cheap appies and pints of beer for just $5. But that’s just scraping the surface.
Here’s the full lowdown:
- Monday: all night halfy hour
- Tuesday: buck a shuck from 3pm to late; double cocktails $8
- Wednesday: 1/2 price bottled wine all day; 1/2 price wings all day
- Thursday: 1/2 price bottled wine all day; feature fondue from 5pm to late
- Saturday: Stein holding Schweinshaxen $25
- Sunday: Bavarian fam-style schnitzel me Sunday $20 from 3pm to late
Sooo yeah. It’s pretty delicious up in here. We highly recommend the feature fondue, ’cause who doesn’t love dipping into some tasty melted goodness? Fon-don’t miss out (we’re so sorry).
