We’re not kidding! This time last year Blanco received a Cease and Desist from TacoTime after using “Taco Tuesday” while advertising one of the city’s best taco deals. Lo and behold, TacoTime had trademarked the name nearly 20 years ago, so Blanco had to give it up. Instead of relinquishing the name quietly, Blanco took the re-naming process to the public and had taco fans from around Calgary vote for a new name.

The winning name was ‘Taco Tuesdaze’, and this has since become Blanco’s replacement name in order to keep the good times (and tastes) rolling. Sounds like a success story to us!
