An Exclusive Look At Our Hottest Experimental Brewery

Two things we’re into: good beer and great conversations. Weirdly enough, those are the two exact things that Annex Ale Project does really, really well. This new spot has been blowing up, and for good reason– so we decided to pop in for a tour of the taproom.
Described as a space for “beer drinkers and big thinkers”, Annex’s taproom is bright, simplistic, and super inviting. There’s lots of space and absolutely no TV’s, a factor that encourages actual human interaction (can you imagine?!).

But as much as we love their look, it’s Annex’s beers that really have our hearts. They’ve got some seriously unique flavours here, and the limited edition beers are constantly shifting… but if you’re lucky enough to catch a taste of their Milk Chocolate Stout or Dry Hopped Berliner Weisse, we highly recommend it.

You can’t go wrong with classics like the Metes & Bounds Extra Pale Ale or the Force Majeure New England IPA either. But if you’re in a no-drinking mood (can’t relate, but we empathize), their Root Beers and Ginger Beers can’t be beaten.

Pop by to fill a growler, buy a keg, or enjoy a brewery tour– but don’t leave without a pint and a lil’ string cheese. Trust us, we know from experience.
