THE DANDELION BY NOURISH

Previously known as the Dandelion Cafe, this restaurant announced that they had been forced to shut down in November; however, thanks to its new partnership with Banff’s Nourish Bistro, they’ve been able to make a comeback! This waste-free, plant-based resto on 8th Street is fun, accommodating and above all, freaking tasty. Everything is made in house, including their “milk” and “cheese,” and they also offer gluten-free options!

PINK DOOR PIZZA

Brought to us by the folks at Starbelly, Pink Door Pizza is a brand new, super tasty concept without an official physical location. Here they deliver everything from exciting experimental flavours like their Pickle My Fancy pie as well as classic favourites like Hawaiian and pepperoni.

IYYCBURG

Noto is authentically Italian and crafted by dessert pro, Dom Tudda, the owner of Pulcinella in Kensington. These folks have over 16 flavours of gelato including Lemon Sorbetto, Hazelnut, Mint Chocolate and Nutella. Drool.

JIAJIA BAR

Jia Jia is a brand new Asian street food joint with standards higher than the Bow Building. From unreal menu items like the Macau pork chop burger, the Singapore style curry vermicelli, bubble tea and a variety of tasty shareables, we can almost guarantee that no one will leave this place hungry.

The more the merrier! Tasty Korean street food resto, Hankki has just opened a second Calgary location, and for those who have never been – you are in for a treat! This contemporary Korean street food spot is best known for their corndogs and their ‘cupbops,’ which is essentially a built our own adventure bowl.

PATTY SHACK

Patty Shack is like the quirky new resto opened by the folks behind Ceili’s in Calgary. Messy and piled high with fresh ingredients Patty Shack burgers are made with hand smashed beef and then are covered in sauce. This place is certainly not for anyone unprepared to eat a monster meal.

MOTHER CLUCKER

Mother Clucker is a super sassy spot with a big attitude. Inspired by Nashville spice, everything from their wings to their strips is seriously crispy crunchy and full of flavour. Good luck trying to top this Popeyes!

SERIOUS PIZZA

PIGOT’S BURGER CLUB 

Covered in melted cheese, onions, mushrooms, secret sauce and served with a side of ‘dirty tots’, the portions at the Pigot’s Burger Club pop-up are as large as the chef’s portfolio so you’re definitely going to want to check it out. Seriously guys, from Guy’s Grocery Games to Calgary’s favourite chef of 2020, Pigot’s really won it all.
