Well, Calgary the time has come. It’s almost time for our Calgary’s e-scooters to take a long winter’s nap. All Lime, Roll and Bird brand two-wheelers will be removed from the streets of Calgary on November 1st.
According to the city’s website, since the YYC scooter pilot launch over two years ago, Calgary has taken an outrageous 1.87 million trips in total.

Knowing what we know now, we think that it’s probably safe to say that we’re a big fan of the ride-sharing service.
Likewise, it’s also probably safe to say that with them gone, getting around downtown is going to require a lot more leg power than it did before.
Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on when Calgary’s e-scooters will be returning, but we’ll keep an eye on this one. Until then, stay safe, friends, and remember to stretch before making your way from one end of the inner city to the other, it’s a lot longer of a walk than you recall!
