The City of Calgary is set to announce a new car-sharing service tomorrow

Via Communauto Inc.

Well, hey there, friends. We’ve got some great news for those who are still mourning the loss of Car 2 Go. After months of speculation and chatter, The City of Calgary will officially announce the arrival of Communauto, a Canadian ride-sharing company!

It all started earlier this year when the company expressed interest in filling the void that the pint-sized vehicles left when they disappeared from our streets.

Of course, bringing Communauto to Calgary wasn’t as easy as saying “yes.” Before signing on the dotted line, the company requested that they discuss moving the parking time limits in the downtown area. Ya’ know, so they could operate smoothly, and such.

We’re assuming an agreement was made because low and behold, Tomorrow, Thursday, August 27th Calgary will have a new way of transportation!

We’re not quite sure when exactly the vehicles will hit the road, Jack, but we’ll be sure you keep you guys updated! Get ready, folks! Life is about to get a heck of a lot more convenient.
