Hotels Live to host first-ever balcony drag show in Calgary

Live entertainment is just one of the many things that we’ve missed in 2020. Luckily, just when we thought we would have to wait an entire year to watch another concert, show, or production, the folks at Livestar Entertainment launched Hotels Live. Now, hot off 3 successful Stampede shows, the company announced today that they will also be hosting a one-of-a-kind celebration of love and the LGBTQ+ community.
Hotels Live was created to liven up the city of Calgary while restrictions are in place. Since last month, they have actually held several concerts in the Ramada Hotel pool area.

Here’s the kicker though, instead of selling seats, they have been encouraging people to stay in the surrounding rooms and watch off of their balcony. This way, everyone can still enjoy a live show comfortably, while staying a reasonable distance from others! It’s honestly genius.
This year, to celebrate the 30th birthday of Calgary Pride, in collaboration with Show Pass and Plain Jane Events, the company will hold the very first Hotel Balcony Drag Show in history.
The show will be hosted by Calgary’s own Karla Marx and will feature performances by local favourites including Duke Carson, Angelina Starchild, Vanta Blaque, and Farrah Nuff.
Each per group ticket will include your room, the show, and mems to last a lifetime! Don’t miss it!
