Barrow Coffee Roasters and Bakery just opened in a new location!
Guilt-free desserts? Just say the word and we’re there! Barrow Coffee Roasters and Canela Bakery, a super popular spot at MRU, have moved our of their CSpace Calgary location and into some new digs on 1st Street.
Barrow is a vegan coffee house big into direct trade beans. Because of this, their quality control is on point. You know you’re getting a bang for your buck here and can rest easy knowing that it’s all done ethically.

Barrow imports their grounds from Peru and Guatemala, where they actually work with an organization that supports women of coffee-producing families, which is just as sweet as Canela’s Mini Dark Chocolate Cakes.
Everything, from their vegan scones and cinnamon rolls (which are also incredible) to their lattes, is made in house. Their baristas and bakers are also incredibly accommodating to dietary restrictions and preferences, which we love. You can check them out now in their brand new location on 1st Street. We’re on the hunt for a scone or five.
