Is there a better way to end a long day than by catching the sun going down over the city’s skyline? If we were uncultured, shallow and honest, we’d probably say “yes, by falling asleep to whatever is on our Netflix cue,” but that just wouldn’t impress the ladies, would it? The correct answer is no, and thanks to the City of Calgary data portal found by Reddit super sleuths, we now know which benches in Calgary are the best to watch the sunset from!

The YYC Recreation and Culture department have actually listed every West facing bench in the city, including information like the GPS coordinates of each spot, and even the finish on each seat. They are doing the most.
